STEP 1: Complete a Zillow Pre-Screening

To tour one of our homes, we require a Zillow pre-screening (credit, criminal, eviction history). For $35, you can complete a Zillow screening that’s valid for 30 days and can be reused on any rental listings across Zillow.

• Your full name
  and
• The address of the property you're interested in
   

This helps us find your application quickly and get you scheduled for a tour. 😃

✅ If You’ve Already Been Pre-Screened on Zillow:
No need to apply again!

• Your full name
  and
• The address of the home you're interested in
  and
• A note that your Zillow pre-screening is still valid
   

Once confirmed, we’ll assign you a private lockbox code to tour the home.

Step 2: Final Application Through Ocala Properties

Once you’ve completed your Zillow pre-screening, toured the home, and decided it’s the right fit for you, the next step is to submit your final application through Ocala Properties. This application includes income verification and a more detailed background check to ensure a great match for both you and the home.

If you decide to move forward with one of our homes, we’ll ask you to complete a final application through our system. This includes:

• Income verification (we require 2.5x the monthly rent)
   
• Local background checks
   
• Final approval by our team
   

Application Fees for Step 2 – Propertyware Final Application

• $30 for the first adult applicant (includes a $5 processing fee charged by our secure third-party platform)
   
• $25 for each additional adult applicant or co-signer in the same household
